Brenda Luz Orellana has their NYC Directing debut in the upcoming Latine festival 4X Latiné . Directing two shows for the night “ARENA: A HOSUE MUSIC-al” and “Keep Me In Mind”
“ARENA: A HOUSE MUSIC-al” -set in 1990’s Los Angeles in a time and place where LOVE was the drug, friends became FAMILIA and the music gave us LIFE! This show has given voice to a generation that came together during a turbulent time of racial injustice aimed at the Latino population, the AIDS epidemic, and a historical aspect of how the Latino LGBT community of Los Angeles fought bravely to be seen.
“Keep Me In Mind” is this heartfelt and vulnerable tale, a devoted a Oman must reckon with her past, present and future hen Carin for her ailing mother with terminal dementia gets in the way of starting a family with her wife.
